🐷🐮🐖🐖🐖Once you are married, no matter your age, gender, or temperament, both God and man expect you to be mature-minded, to know your right from your left, and to be able to differentiate between the holy, the hallowed, and the mundane.
🐷🐮🐖🐖🐖DIFFERING SPACES
Our anchor Scripture is the words of Apostle Paul many years after he was caught up into Paradise, where he heard very deep and sacred things.
🐖Even though he was not forbidden to reveal what he heard, he had the spiritual discernment and maturity to recognise that those things were too holy and too heavenly to be revealed on earth and to mortal men; and so, he kept sealed lips about them until his death.
🐷🐮🐖🐖🐖TIME TO BE SILENT
The Bible tells us that there is a time for everything:
📖“A time to keep silence, and a time to speak.” (Ecclesiastes 3:7b)
🐷This means that, like St. Paul, we must, as spouses, have the wisdom, maturity, and discernment to know what to reveal and what is too sacred to be shared with others.
🐮Recently, I read an online post by a wife who was heartbroken because, after she initiated sex and freely made love to her husband with liberty, gusto, and abandon, the man turned around and started using how she made love and what she said during the act to taunt and mock her.
🐖Now, is it any wonder that some wives refuse to initiate sex or become fully active during sexual intimacy, but instead opt to be passive? It is because they fear that one day the man will turn traitor and spill out to the world how they make love and what their bodies look like.
🐷🐮🐖🐖🐖SWINE SPOUSES
When, as a husband or wife, you use the words or actions of covenant love expressed by your mate during the heat of passion—when you were both intertwined, ablaze with the flames of sensuality and lost in each other—to break their heart afterwards by taunting, ridiculing, or mocking them, you are really showing exactly who you are deep down on the inside.
🐷The truth is: those who use what their mate did or said during sex to mock them are pigs and dogs. Yes, they are swine, hogs, and sows!
🐖Please read the words of our Lord Jesus Christ:
📖“Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you.” (Matthew 7:6)
🐖Husband and wife are supposed to be both human. As a human male, your wife’s enthusiastic and no-holds-barred lovemaking should thrill you and elicit your praise, admiration, and adulation. But when, instead of celebrating her, you use what she did and said during those golden moments to deride her, you behave like the dog that does not recognise what is holy and the pig that does not know the worth of pearls, and so not only treads them underfoot but also turns on the one who graciously offered them, attacking and injuring them.
🐖In a nutshell, using the sexy words and manoeuvres of your wife in bed to shame her shows you to be a beast, which is one of the reasons the Bible says:
📖“Man that is in honour, and understandeth not, is like the beasts that perish.” (Psalm 49:20)
🐷🐮🐖🐖🐖YOUR BEDROOM IS A SACRED SPACE
Sir/Ma, your marriage bedroom is a sacred space, and the things that you and your spouse say and do when naked should be seen by only the two of you. The knowledge of all that transpires there should remain between the two of you and must never be shared with outsiders in conversations, no matter how close they are to you.
🐮Unfortunately, some spouses seemingly suffer from “mouth diarrhoea” and talk so carelessly, revealing their mate’s bedroom secrets to others.
🐷🐮🐖🐖🐖“BASKET-MOUTH” HUSBAND
A man received a male visitor into his home while his wife was busy somewhere else in the house. After the visitor had sat down, he called out to his wife to come and greet their guest. As she approached, the husband turned towards the visitor and said, “She’s a sex bomb!”
🐷Sadly, he said it out loud, and the wife heard it and instantly felt mortified, highly embarrassed, and ashamed.
🐖Translated into Nigerian Pidgin English, “a sex bomb” means: “A woman wey sabi fuck well-well!”
🐖Exactly what called for informing his guest about his wife’s sexual capacity or capability? Nothing! No woman finds that kind of crazy utterance complimentary. It is, apparently, a defamation of her person.
🐷🐮🐖🐖🐖BASKET-MOUTH WIVES
There are also wives who do not know the difference between the holy and the mundane and so talk carelessly.
🐷Some have subjected their husbands to ridicule by telling their friends how “tiny” their man’s sexual organ is, not knowing that sexual prowess does not depend on size.
🐮On the other hand, there are wives who have lost their husbands because of oversharing on social media and spilling to all who cared to read how good their man is in bed, foolishly exposing him to seductresses.
🐖In one such case, the seductress carefully tracked the husband and, using the information his foolishly loquacious wife had provided—his specific preferences, turn-ons, and so on—enticed and entangled him in an affair, and he ended up divorcing his talkative wife.
🐷🐮🐖🐖🐖CONCLUSION
The Bible’s instruction to be swift to hear and slow to speak is for our good.
🐮When you are with friends and they are talking about their spouses, be on your guard. Be very careful not to be carried away by the sentiments of the moment and reveal the bedroom secrets of you and your spouse.🐷🐮
